If you were sent notice of a Data Incident involving Dartmouth in November 2025, you may be entitled to Benefits as a Settlement Class Member.

A $750,000 Settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit against Trustees of Dartmouth College (“Dartmouth”) regarding a cybersecurity incident involving Oracle EBS of which Dartmouth sent notice in November 2025 in which a criminal third party gained unauthorized access to an Oracle EBS application used by Dartmouth and may have accessed individuals’ Private Information (“Data Incident”). Private Information means personally identifiable information consisting of some combination of the following: names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, and/or financial account information.

Your decision to remain in the Settlement Class or to exclude yourself will not affect your rights or ability to participate in any future settlement with any non-settling defendant.

The Settlement Class includes: all living individuals residing in the United States who were sent notice by Dartmouth that their Private Information may have been impacted in the Data Incident.

If you are a member of the Settlement Class, you may be eligible for the following Settlement Class Member Benefits:

Cash Payment A – Documented Losses: You may submit a Claim Form and provide reasonable documentation for losses related to the Data Incident for up to $5,000 per Settlement Class Member;

Cash Payment B – Pro Rata Cash: You may also submit a Claim Form, without providing documentation, to receive a pro rata (a legal term meaning equal share) Cash Payment in the estimated amount of $75; AND

Credit Monitoring: In addition to Cash Payment A and Cash Payment B, you may also submit a Claim Form to receive two years of one bureau Credit Monitoring.

Your payment may be subject to a pro rata increase or decrease depending upon the total value of all Valid Claims.

Get no Settlement Class Member Benefits. Keep your right to file your own lawsuit against the Released Parties about the Released Claims that are released by the Settlement in this lawsuit.

Object by

Stay in the Settlement but tell the Court why you do not agree with the Settlement. You will still be bound by the Settlement if the Court approves it.

Do Nothing
